Pak turning Gwadar into open prison on China’s order

BLA targeted Pakistan Army’s convoy in Quetta

Source: Social Media Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) sarmachars bombed a convoy of the Pakistan Army's Frontier Corps (FC) in Muslim Town of Quetta's Brewery area. FC convoy was targeted with an IED. Several personnel of the occupier army were killed and wounded in the attack. The blast resulted in damaging  their vehicle as well. New border crossing point with Iran opened in Gwadar

BEHRAM BALOCH GWADAR: Minister for Defence Production Zuba­ida Jalal opened another official border crossing point with Iran here on Saturday. After Taftan, Gwadar Ramdhan is the second international border crossing point between Iran and Pakistan. Taftan has been facing tremendous pressure as it is used for trade and by thousands of pilgrims every year. Taftan border crossing point is being used for more than 70 years. Polio case detected in Balochistan

THE NEWSPAPER'S STAFF CORRESPONDENT QUETTA: Another polio case has been reported in Balochistan, taking the total number of children affected by the crippling virus in the province to 25 this year. Officials said on Saturday the latest victim was a 16-month-old boy of Gulistan Tehsil of Qila Abdullah district that borders Afghanistan. The boy had not received polio vaccine as his parents refused to allow the anti-polio team to get their child vaccinated. The highest number of polio cases have been reported in the country from Balochistan. Health officials have been urging the parents to get their children vaccinated to save them from becoming permanently disabled as vaccination is the only way to eradicate polio from the world. Effective strategy being pursued to gauge minerals potential in Balochistan

10 hours ago APP       ISLAMABAD - The government is working on an effective strategy to determine unexplored minerals in Balochistan province, which possesses a variety of valuable ore resources.  Accordingly, an approval has recently been granted for setting up a new public sector company in the province to accelerate minerals’ exploration activities, besides giving a task to the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) to map 50 Toposheets of ‘outcrop area’ to identify hidden resources in Balochistan.  “The new entity titled ‘Balochistan Mineral Exploration Company Limited (BMEC)‘ will be a joint venture of the Federal and Balochistan governments with 10  per cent and 90  per cent shares respectively,” a senior official privy to petroleum sector developments told APP.  Highlighting the company prospects, he said a part of continental-scale Tethyan Copper Belt was located in Chagai District that had tremendous economic mineral potential as “some promising ore deposits including of copper
