Senate body reviewed schemes of Maritime Affairs

 Last updated on: 31 August,2020 07:19 pm The Committee directed the Ministry to expedite the work on the Institute ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Senate Standing Committee on Maritime Affairs on Monday reviewed in detail about on-going and new schemes of Maritime Affairs Division included in PSDP 2020-21. The committee which met here parliament house, also reviewed non-payment of dues to land owners from whom land has been acquired for Eastbay Expressway, Gwadar. While being briefed about on-going and new schemes of the Maritime Affairs Division, the Committee was informed that 5 projects are on-going, whereas 11 new projects have been included in the PSDP 2020-21. The Committee was informed that certain procurement projects were being delayed due to quarterly funding by the Ministry of Finance. Protest at Johnson's residence against enforced disappearances in Baloch

By  ANI  |  Europe |  Last Updated at August 31 2020 08:46 IST Twitter: ANI The Free  Balochistan  Movement on Sunday held a protest against Pakistan outside the official residence of UK Prime Minister  Boris Johnson  here on the occasion of the  International  Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. Several Baloch and other human rights activists joined the protest from different cities of the UK and expressed their support for the families of those who have been forcefully disappeared. The protestors were carrying banners and raised slogans against Pakistan military's atrocities against Baloch people. They demanded the immediate release of previously abducted Baloch people and stopping of more enforced disappearances. They also urged the  international  community, including the UK, to stop supporting Pakistan as their support is allowing Pakistan to commit more crimes against humanity.The activists stated that thousands of innocent Baloch people have been arrested and late

Baloch leadership to form govt in exile

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 31 (SocialNews.XYZ)  The Baloch leaders have united to form a new Balochistan government in exile. This was announced by Munir Mengal, president of Baloch Voice Association who is in exile in Paris and Naela Quadri, chairperson of Baloch People's Congress, who lives in exile in Vancouver in Canada. The two leaders were speaking at a webinar "Balochistan-Quest for self determination: An analysis" on Sunday night. The event was organized by the right wing think tank, Centre for Policy and Development Studies based here. Mengal said that the India government must be pro active in the cause of Balochistan and if the game plan floated by China turns successful it will doom the entire South Asia and South Asian countries.
