China to Pak Army: Reign in JIT on Sharif to ensure smooth progress of CPEC Updated: Jul 14, 2017 09:38 IST       Islamabad [Pakistan], Brussels (Belgium) July 14  (ANI) : Top officers of the Pakistan armed forces have been undertaking a flurry of visits to China in connection with the Panamagate issue and its fallout on the Pakistan political system, which China fears could lead to the derailing of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. Since October 2016, senior Pakistan Army officials have been reassuring the Chinese leadership that the CPEC will take priority over the potential Panama Leaks fallout on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. On its part, China has firmly told Pakistan's top military brass that the Joint Investigation Team ( JIT ) must not be allowed to derail the CPEC under any circumstances. Between October 30 and November 4, 2016, Pakistan's Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman visited Beiji

Saudi-Qatar Rift By: Maqbool Reki Recently, Saudi Arab accused the government of Qatar for sponsoring terrorism under the umbrella of ISIS in the vicinity of Persian Gulf states. Such an accusation resulted a boycott on 5th June from Saudi allies namely Egypt, Libya, UAE and Bahrain. They have cut ties and imposed a land, sea and air blockade. However, this issue came about when Qatar establishment backed Iran in a so-called statement. As these two states are contenders and have never left a single opportunity to defame each other just for none. We often say ‘’ my enemy’s friend is my enemy ‘’. Same is the case here. Now Saudi has put Qatar in an agitation and has erected hurdles for derailing its government in order to accept the demands posed after the consultation of its allies. The demands include the termination of relations with Iran and also include the shutdown of Aljazeera channel. The foreign minister of Qatar claimed the demands a menace f

Reprehensible Hind-Baloch Forum 14      Sultan M Hali INDIA has incessantly plotted to destabilise Pakistan but Narendra Modi’s regime has gone the extra mile in its machinations against Pakistan. It was Modi’s election manifesto to annex Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) into India, subjugate Pakistan and force the Indian Muslims to accept Hindu supremacy. Modi’s government went into top gear directly after his oath taking ceremony to fulfil each item on his heinous agenda. IOK received special treatment to bring the Kashmiri youth to its knees and give up its struggle for independence. Modi’s nefarious plan in Kashmir went awry with the brutal assassination of popular Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Wani on July 08, 2016. Instead of being cowed down, Kashmiri youth came out in droves to protest Wani’s murder. Indian armed forces turned the protest rallies into a blood bath; slaughtering hundreds while blinding thousands by firing pellets into their eyes and fac

Pakistan's terrorist proxies from local death squads to Islamic State warriors

by  LAWRENCE SELLIN, PHD  July 13, 2017 According to security officials in Quetta , Shafiq Mengal is the leader of the Islamic State in Pakistan. He was, quite literally, home-grown by the Pakistani government and has now gone rogue, like so many of Pakistan's proxy prodigies. Shafiq Mengal is the  son  of former Pakistan state minister for petroleum and Balochistan's  caretaker chief minister , Naseer Mengal. He  comes from  an influential and educated family, dropped out from Aitchison College in Lahore, and later attended an extremist Sunni-Deobandi theological school. In 2008, Shafiq Mengal  organized  a pro-government tribal militia known as the Baloch Musallah Difaee Tanzeem, which was considered a  pawn  of Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI, and  enjoyed the confidence  of the local Pakistani Army Frontier Corps.  The Pakistani authorities saw it as being in the vanguard of the fight against Balochistan independence insurgents. Mengals's group  soon de
