Source: Hakkal

Freedom fighters of Baloch Liberation Army eliminated an agent of Pakistani occupying forces in Hub on Sunday.

In the operation, carried out by BLA’s Special Tactical Operational Squad, Pakistani agent Shahid Zehri was eliminated, whereas, his vehicle was completely destroyed.

Shahid Zehri was an agent of Pakistan’s military intelligence and had been working under the disguise of a journalist since 2008. He headed a group called Markhor, which was created by Pakistani agencies to lure poor or jobless Baloch youth to work as informers or carry out targeted killings.

Jaleel Zehri, another agent of the same group, was eliminated by BLA on 26 September 2018.

Shahid Zehri was committing various crimes using the noble profession of journalism. He supplied drugs from Gwadar to Karachi, did business with criminals, and even sexually assaulted young children. He had full support of Frontier Corps colonel in these crimes.

Baloch Liberation Army wants to make it clear that we fully believe in freedom of expression and have always cooperated with journalists. But Pakistani military have entered several of its agents under the disguise of journalists into press clubs. These journalists have been informing against Baloch activits and have been active against the Baloch movement. The independent and objective journalists are fully aware of this fact. We appeal the journalist community to identify and expel elements like Shahid Zehri from their ranks. Otherwise BLA will continue to eliminate such agents of occupying forces, irrespective of which profession or group they belong to.
