ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minster on Information and Broadcasting Lt Gen (R) Asim Saleem Bajwa Friday said a ship carrying 17,000 tons of di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) had arrived at Gwadar port. In his tweet, Asim Bajwa said the DAP was now being transported to Afghanistan on 550 trucks and 60 percent of total would be transported through the Chaman border. He said it was for the first time that bagging of bulk cargo had been done locally instead of foreign ports. He said with this development local employment was generated and transport business was also boosted. BLF fighters killed seven Pakistani army men

Balochistan Liberation Front spokesman Major Gwahram Baloch has claimed responsibility for the attacks on Pakistani military personnel in Jhaoo and Mashkay. Major Gwahram Baloch said in a statement to the media from an undisclosed location that last night Sarmachaars attacked the Manguli check post in Mashkay Valley with snipers and heavy weapons, killing three personnel and injuring one. Accepting responsibility for another attack, he said that a Pakistani army patrol team was ambushed with automatic heavy weapons by Sarmachaars at Nondara area of Jhaoo at 8 am on Friday. The attack took place as a group of ten on-foot occupying army personnel were advancing towards Daraj Kaur (river). In the fierce ambush, four army personnel were killed on the spot and two others were injured.
