Balochistan: Five killed in Road accident, another Woman in firing

Date: 22 Jun 2020 Current Balochistan  Woman killed in pistol fire in Mastung area of Balochistan and Five others including a woman killed in road accident on Sunday.According to police, firing incident was taken place in Tiri area of district Mastung, where police Hawaldar Muhammad Hanif was cleaning his pistol inside of his house, when it was goes off accidentally, and bullet hit and injured his wife.The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital, where she was succumbed to his injuries, later the body was handed over to family after completion of medico legal formalities.The Levies officials have lodged the case and started further investigation.In Gwadar, Father and Son among three members of a family including a woman died and six others including woman and children injured, when a vehicle they were travelling lost it,s control and toppled near Dosi-Kor area of Pasni town.Levies said the ill-fated family was going to Pasni from Ormara, when their vehicle met the accident on main Makr…

Two Baloch youths forcefully disappeared from Kharan

Balochistan: Two journalists goes missing from Chaman

ISI's top officer in Balochistan dies of COVID-19

ANI | Updated: Jun 21, 2020 06:48 IST Quetta [Pakistan], June 21 (ANI): A senior officer of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) posted in Balochistan, Brig. Hassan Afzal, has died due to COVID-19 on Saturday.
Sources reveal that Brig. Hassan was the sector commander of the ISI and his death is due to the complete absence of medical facilities in the troubled province of Pakistan.
Balochistan has reported over 9,000 Corona cases which experts say will surge in the coming months. The least developed province in PakistanBalochistan has no super-speciality hospital to treat COVID-19 patients.
Dr Saleem Abro, Director General health Balochistan recently warned in a press conference that the cases could increase to over 100,000 within the next few months.
"From July to September we are expecting coronavirus cases to peak and the situation could become dangerous. About 40 percent of the population in the province is currently infected", Dr Abro told media.
