Pakistan intensifies military operations under cover containing COVID19 in Balochistan: Dr. Nizar Baloch

Pro-Independence Baloch and Balochistan Liberation Front leader Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch tweeted confirming the brutality of the Pakistani army in Occupied Balochistan, said that “Continued Pakistani military operations against civilians confirm our concerns regarding the fight against COVID19 in Balochistan. Shaokat s/o Tilaho & Noor Khan s/o Basheer brutally killed in Kolwah”.  In the same tweet, he mentioned that “Maryam d/o Ali Mohammad, children Maahal, Gohar and Asad of nine months are abducted by Pakistani army and kept in Bidrang army camp in Kech. Khuzdar: Father of missing student leader died.

According to details, Missing Baloch students leader Zahid Kurd’s father Waja Ilahi Bakash Kurd passed away, the funeral was held in Khuzdar’s Naal tehsil where the deceased was laid to rest. Zahid Kurd, the former chairperson of the Baloch Students Organization– Azad (BSO-Azad), was forcibly disappeared in 2014 from outside the University of Balochistan in Quetta. The student leader remain missing to date. Parents of various Baloch socio-political activists have died while waiting for the safe return of their missing family member, the latest being the mother of Ghulam Farooq who was also made subject to enforced disappearance. 4 persons released, 3 more ‘abducted’ from Kech and Panjgur

The abductees belong to Kech and Panjgur districts of Balochistan. According to reports received, Pakistani forces conducted a house to house raid and abducted three persons including two Brothers from Buleda area of District Kech and the other from Balgathar area of District Panjgur. Abductees have been identified as Adam s/o Sumaar from balgathar and Razaq, his brother Kakoo sons of Kamalo Residents of Solo area Buleda. Women and children were reportedly harassed by the military personnel and the valuables were looted from the house. While, Four missing persons were released from Hoshab military camp. who were identified as Dil Murad Madat, Khuda Baksh s/o Denaar, Sepaho s/o Lal Mohammad , Nadir s/o Lal Mohammad. BLA claims the responsibility of attack on oil and gas exploration company in Sibi.

According to details, the oil and gas exploration company was targeted in the Tali area of ​​Sibi. Pakistan’s Non stop shelling on civilians in Jahoo

According to Current Balochistan correspondent, the military movements started early on Friday in surroundings of Jahoo area. A Local of Jahoo has shared with us that Military personnel have sieged different areas of Jahoo and six helicopters are continuously shelling on civilian population. However there is no confirmed reports of any arrests in military operation yet. It should be noted that, in the past few days, a large number of troops consisted of around 30 military trucks from the kohado and Greshag area of Jahoo had entered the mountain range of Surgar which is currently facing a deadly military operation, going totally ignored by the mainstream. Military operations are common in Balochitan and many civilians have been abducted in operations from different areas of Balochistan in last few years.

Balochistan to give interest-free loans

SALEEM SHAHID QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to give interest-free loans to people to compensate them for the losses suffered due to lockdown triggered by the coronavirus. The provincial cabinet had approved the scheme and in some districts it had already been started, Finance Secretary Noorul Haq Baloch said in a statement on Sunday. “Around 30,000 youths, who were facing unemployment in the province, will immediately benefit from the interest-free loan scheme,” he said. Baloch said a programme was also under consideration on the directive of Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani for distribution of cash among 119,000 deserving families through the Zakat fund of Rs2 billion. “As many as 32,000 families will get cash very soon,” he added. He said that another fund would also be allocated for providing health facilities to the poor.
