Under the directives of PM Imran Khan, in order to begin the operations at the Gwadar port, the initiative is taken by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) which resulted in the first fish carrier arrival of the 200 tons of fish from international waters at Gwadar.
According to the report, in reefer containers, the fish will be shipped to China. It will open a new era of prosperity and growth for the Baluchistan people and the economy of Pakistan.
Pakistan Customs is all geared up to realize Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to transform Gwadar in to an International Transit trade Hub and help trade via Gwadar Port.
International Transshipment Rules vide SRO 218(I)/2020 dated 10.03.2020 has been notified by FBR. Also, a dedicated Directorate of Transit Trade has been established at Gwadar to operate with the stakeholders and transform Gwadar into a Transit trade hub.
