Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) leader Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch in a statement strongly condemned the Turbat Dannuk incident and said that such incidents have become commonplace in Balochistan. This time the incident has come to light due to the resistance and bravery of the locals. We have repeatedly pointed out that behind most of the social evils and looting in Balochistan are the occupying forces and its instruments of war which also have the patronage of the parliamentary parties.

Under the auspices of Military Intelligence, Death-Squad members raided the house of Jassim son of Ameer in Turbat Dannuk for robbery. A woman was martyred and a child was seriously injured during the resistance. In different parts of Balochistan, such groups are involved in murder, theft, robbery, and other crimes, but due to the support of the army and intelligence agencies against the Baloch freedom fighters, the parliamentary parties are ready to defend them. After the incident, these people often take refuge in military camps, which are their permanent sanctuaries.

The BLF leader said the attack and shooting at a house in Dannuk, which resulted in the martyrdom of a woman and the wounding of a four-year-old child, was a highly reprehensible and heinous act. At the same time, it is a continuation of the events that have become a daily occurrence in Balochistan. These are the hallmarks of slavery. We can certainly find such attitudes towards enslaved nations in the pages of history, but in this modern age, enslaving a country by colonizing it is against human cultural attitudes and values in the 21st century. Even in this modern age, the atrocities that Pakistan is carrying out by occupying and colonizing Balochistan are hardly found in today’s world.

He said that as the world has progressed in science and technology, many organizations have come into existence for human values and respect and are trying to give human life the highest value. Despite all these developments, Pakistan has not only maintained colonialism by crushing global values under its military boots, but has also pursued a policy of oppression, violence, and self-harm of the Baloch by the Baloch in the same way that was meted out to privately-owned slaves.

The Dannuk incident is one of many examples. The attackers were directly linked to Military Intelligence. They were running various gangs headed by Major Nadeem. Major Nadeem was killed in an attack by Baloch freedom fighters. However, as long as the Pakistani occupation remains, its army will not stop using these tools. Using them as a weapon in Balochistan will continue to result in violating our values and traditions of honor and respect.

Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch further said that in the Turbat incident, family members, neighbors and relatives showed courage and bravery and arrested the Pakistani goons. Immediately after the incident, pictures of the attackers and other members of the gang brandishing guns with a Pakistani minister went viral on social media. These elements take refuge in the homes of puppet ministers and military camps after all kinds of criminal activities. This is the Baloch genocide, an attack on Baloch culture, and an attack on our dignity and honor.

Historical relationship between Kurd and Baloch.

The Kurds are the ethnical group living in a region known as Kurdistan which is divided into Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Iran. They  are struggling for an independent region since decades and they are famous for their female guerrilla fighters.        On 25 September 2017, the referendum for an independent Kurdish region  was held in Iraq with a turn out of 72 %.   On this important occasion, the historical relation between Kurd and Baloch people is worth discussing.       When it comes to history, every nation tends to find its roots and origin. Same goes with the Baloch people. The Baloch people are always curious  about  finding their roots in history. Even if you  talk to a shepherd in Balochistan, he will be curious to talk about his  tribal or ethnical roots.      The Balochs have always conveyed the history to the next generations in different mediums like poems etc. No Baloch before 20th century had written books on  history  or origin of the Baloch nation .
