Current Balochistan

BNM’s international representative, Hammal Haider Baloch said in a statement regarding the party’s activities in Diaspora that due to the global epidemic, all the diplomatic functions, important meetings, seminars, programs and protests of the organization are indefinite, they are out of time.
He said that many important meetings had to be postponed during this period. Among them were scheduled meetings with two British MPs.
Mr. Hammal said, an important meeting was expected on May 15, which has now been postponed indefinitely. However, zonal officials have discussed a future meeting with the MP’s secretary. “As soon as the situation improves, we will reschedule the date and time,” he said.
“The organization was scheduled to hold an international conference in 2020, which was being planned and prepared, but was postponed due to the gravity of the situation. This most important conference will be ensured as soon as the situation improves” he added.
He added that BNM Diaspora members were to give a detailed presentation at an important seminar in Wales UK in July of the same year. It is also delayed due to the corona virus. The organizers of the seminar have promised to hold a similar seminar again in the near future and invite us.
Mr. Baloch said that state barbarism continues in Balochistan even in this most difficult period. Forced disappearances continue, mutilated bodies are still being found. Military operations have been stepped up. Of course, we can feel the importance of this critical situation and the need to intensify our activities. That is why the BNM was trying to hold programs during the September session of the United Nations. All these activities will be part of our planning if the global epidemic is brought under control and conditions return to normal.
He appealed to all the workers, officials and sympathizers in the diaspora to expose the state’s brutality by making proper and better use of social media
