Pro-independence Political Organization Baloch National Movement's spokesperson said that conferences and demonstrations were held by BNM on August 11 in Balochistan and various other countries. A conference was held in Frankfurt (Oder) Germany and protests were organized in the city of Münster Germany, Melbourne Australia, and also a reference program was held in Greece.

"The participants in the Frankfurt (Oder) conference were addressed by BNM Foreign Secretary Hammal Haidar Baloch, prominent writer and scholar Dr. Naseer Dashti, Organizer of BNM Diaspora Committee, Dr. Naseem Baloch, President of International Friends of Sindh, Saleem Sanahi, General Secretary of Baloch Human Rights Organization (BHRO) Abdullah Abbas Baloch, BNM ex-Finance Secretary Haji Naseer Baloch, Vice President of BRP Germany Adil Baloch and President of BNM Germany Zone Hammal Baloch" he added.

Dostain Baloch, the vice president of Baloch National Movement Germany zone hosted the conference. While addressing the audience, Hammal Haider Baloch said: "11th August reminds us of our free land which was forcibly annexed by Pakistan through the barrel of guns and turned us slaves. This time the Baloch nation has continuously struggled against this slavery for the last two decades.”

He was confident and hopeful that Pakistan as a state sooner or later would collapse and he remarked," Pakistan is going through the worst and lowest ebb of its history and it would certainly collapse. Its economy is sliding down and has been isolated in the international political arena. In such conditions, it would fail as a state and would be dismembered any time. Instead of waiting we should equip ourselves for the future course and if we fail to do this, like in the past we would not be able to keep our freedom for long. In 1947 we were only free for some months but this time we should prepare ourselves for six thousands years of freedom.”

Hammal Haider Baloch further said, "Pakistan Army has been carrying out atrocities to crush Baloch national struggle. The abduction and killing of Baloch political activists have become a daily routine of the Pakistan Army; regardless of this, Baloch national struggle has continued for the last twenty years."

Renowned Baloch writer and historian Dr. Naseer Dasthi addressed to the conference and said such gatherings of the younger generation for the cause of national freedom is pleasant. The young generation should continue this struggle with strong commitment.

The Rise of China-Europe Railways

The Rise of China-Europe RailwaysMarch 6, 2018The Dawn of a New Commercial Era?For over two millennia, technology and politics have shaped trade across the Eurasian supercontinent. The compass and domesticated camels helped the “silk routes” emerge between 200 and 400 CE, and peaceful interactions between the Han and Hellenic empires allowed overland trade to flourish. A major shift occurred in the late fifteenth century, when the invention of large ocean-going vessels and new navigation methods made maritime trade more competitive. Mercantilism and competition among Europe’s colonial powers helped pull commerce to the coastlines. Since then, commerce between Asia and Europe has traveled primarily by sea.1Against this historical backdrop, new railway services between China and Europe have emerged rapidly. Just 10 years ago, regular direct freight services from China to Europe did not exist.2 Today, they connect roughly 35 Chinese…
