QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Home & Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Mir Ziaullah Longov on Thursday directed to the departments concerned to take strict action against land mafia who had involved in illegal occupying official lands in the province.
He said the mafia, possessing official land in Balochistan, did not deserve any relaxation, because such cases were increasing in the areas due to corruption, said press release issued here.
The minister also urged citizens to play their key role to prevent land mafia and to cooperate with the government for pointing out the spots where ever the state’s land was being occupied therefore the strict action could be taken against the occupants.
“The names of informers will be kept in secret by the government”, he said, adding measures were being taken to ensure implementation of law in the province for public welfare.
He said any dealing of government officials would not be tolerated over official land with mafia and action would also be carried against those employees of concerned sectors when they found involved in any deal.
The minister further said law and order situation has been improved through positive efforts of present regime and security forces in the province, adding that the trade activities were being enhanced in respective areas owing to maintaining peace.
Ziaullah Langov said reasonable struggles was being carried to improve performance of all government officials including security forces for development of Balochistan.
