Dilawar had been through severe torture during detention and succumbed to his wounds soon after his release – Family
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, the happiness of Dilawar’s family could not last long when the missing son died soon after his release.
Dilawar S/O Shahmir was abducted 6 days ago by security forces from volleyball court in Tump town of Kech district, said the family.
“We were informed that he has been released, but when we found him he was in critical condition, he had been through severe torture”, added family
Dilawar succumbed to his wounds when he was being shifted to Turbat city for treatment.
A surge has been witnessed in the abductions of students in Balochistan after an attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi by a Baloch insurgent group.
Amnesty international and campaign groups in Pakistan have criticized Pakistan’s secret agencies of abduction-styled-arrests and detaining people extra-judicially.
