QUETTA  : At least four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred on Wednesday in a targeted firing incident in Quetta.

“The Frontier Corps troopers were patrolling the residential
neighborhood of Langoabad on motorcycles when they were fired on
by gunmen also riding bikes,” Naseebullah Khan, Senior
Superintendent of Police for Quetta told Reuters.  “The four men were shot in the head.”

Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for
the attack.

Governor Balochistan Mohammad Khan Achakzai condemns the attack

Condemning the targeted incident, Governor Balochistan Mohammad Achakzai expressed condolences to the bereaved families. He urged the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) arrest the culprits at the earliest.
