PAKISTAN, BAHRAIN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP TO GROW UNDER CPEC: DASTGIR

Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan has said that Pakistan and Bahrain will grow economic partnership under China Pakistan Economic Corridor and mega projects of regional connectivity.

He was addressing the Second Pakistan-Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference along with his Bahraini counterpart Zayed Rashid Alzayani in Islamabad on Friday.

The Minister said Bahrain has an important geographical location, situated as gateway for six Gulf Cooperation Council countries also provides excess to all countries.

He appreciated the business growth of Al Baraka Bank in Pakistan that has grown from four branches to 240.

The Minister expressed hope that by mid of the next year, Pakistan will come out of the energy crisis.

Khurram Dastgir said many foreign companies, including the Netherlands investment group will invest in dairy sector of the country.         

On the occasion, Minister for Commerce and Industry of Bahrain Zayed Rashid Alzayani said Bahrain is committed to enhance the trade and business relations with Pakistan
