Another settler gunned down

QUETTA - One person was killed and 10 others wounded in two separate incidents of target killing and bomb blast in Panjgur and Sibi towns of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to police sources, unknown militants had planted an explosive device near a sweet shop in Sibi town, some 160 kilometers, Southeast of Quetta City. The sources said that device was planted at Masjid Road of Sibi town.

The device exploded with a big bang, causing injuries to 10 people including the owner of the shop Malik Shaukat. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Sibi for medical treatment. Name of some injured were identified as Fahad Hussain, Deep Chand, Abdul Wahab, Ghulam Ali, Abdul Nabi, Abdul Rasheed, Najeebullah and Lal Muhammad. Condition of some injured is stated to be serious.

The blast smashed the glasses of nearby shops and sent a wave of panic among the people of the area.Police and other law-enforcers reached the spot and started investigations into the incident. No group has accepted responsibility for the bomb blast till filing of this story. According to reports from Panjgur, a laboratory assistant was gunned down in the City.

Unidentified armed assailants opened indiscriminate firing on Khalid Mehmood, a laboratory assistant, at Sachkan Bazaar of Panjgour town.As a result, he sustained serious injuries and succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

Police reached the site after being informed and shifted the body to hospital.
Police sources termed the incident as target killing and said that the victim belonged to Punjab.Police has registered a case and started investigations.
